Assistant Account Manager Commercial Lines

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with carriers to confirm requirements and gather information needed to quote policy renewals.
  
• Prepare and send renewal exposure workbooks to clients, and assist in collecting necessary renewal data.
  
• Process and manage renewal and change requests, with a focus on Business Insurance Risk Management accounts.
  
• Handle billing and processing of premium audits, renewal policies, and bonds as required.
  
• Support new and renewal presentation preparation, including generating ID cards, binders, and certificates of insurance.
  
• Manage cancellations, reinstatements, and maintain accurate policy records in AMS360.
  
• Ensure consistent documentation and file accuracy in the document management system (Worksmart).
  
• Foster effective communication and maintain positive working relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members; perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have Illinois Property & Casualty license or obtain within 60 days of hire date.
• 3 years Commercial Lines Agency experience in a highly automated, risk management focused environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products with proficiency in Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment that will also require working independently.
• Experience with AMS360 system a strong plus

Salary Range is $65K to 75K per year.
