Objective:
To work side by side with Producers in managing the servicing on new and existing clients and by working as one of the critical members of the Retiree Healthcare Resource Center. Retain clients by developing strong relationships built on the highest degree of customer service and technical know-how. Increase agency revenues by recognizing client needs and providing advanced technical solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage renewal and proposal processes
- Engage clients and prospects in gathering and preparing renewal information
- Prepare documents for and attend client meetings
- Assist clients with billing and claims questions
- Handle day-to-day service requests (sensitive administrative tasks)
- Master internal client management systems, including Benefit Point
- Strengthen client relationships through social engagement
- Identify and assist in developing cross selling opportunities
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development
- Create and maintain a positive work environment – build trust, open communication, creative thinking & cohesive teamwork
- Support Lighthouse Group culture through leading by example
- Performs other duties and projects as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Business or related college degree – entry level candidates with 2 years of less professional experience or recent college graduate
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse individuals
- Experience in Medicare and/or Individual Health sales or service strongly preferred
- Insurance designations a plus
- Strong proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Obtain and maintain a Michigan Life and Health license
- Obtain and maintain Medicare and carriers certifications
