Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time Property Assistant for a luxury home & lifestyle management firm located in Blowing Rock. Our company caters to HNW & UHNW individuals, supporting them in all aspects of their life and meticulously maintaining their properties. We strive to provide the highest level of service to our clients through detail-oriented care, communication, and personalized services.
We operate with a small, close-knit team. While we take our jobs and duties to our clients very seriously, we find it important to maintain a fun and relaxed working environment. We value our employees and make it a priority to ensure everyone feels included and supported.
This position would be a perfect opportunity for a college student looking to gain experience in the hospitality and luxury services industry. We hope to welcome a proactive individual with an upbeat, can-do attitude who enjoys working independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to –
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail in all aspects of property care
- Be hands-on and open to various tasks, from minor repairs to furniture setup to clean up
- Perform scheduled indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks such as:
- Exterior furniture cleaning
- Power washing
- Landscape maintenance (leaf blowing, pulling weeds, watering plants, weed eating)
- Washing vehicles & equipment
- Cobweb removal
- Run errands related to household needs (package pick up & delivery, purchasing supplies, trash disposal, etc.)
- Communicate with Administrative Coordinator regarding all client communications, needs, or changes
- Purchase materials and supplies necessary to perform maintenance and repair project
- Ensure residence is guest ready and perform arrival & departure preparation
Requirements -
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Polished presentation, enthusiastic, and positive disposition
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Willing to access attic areas, crawl spaces, etc.
- Basic repair and handyman skills a plus
- Flexible - able to change direction, as needed
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills
- Legal to work in the US
- Able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Excellent references
