Schedule : Friday – Sunday, 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (with holidays, on-call, and callback as needed)
What You’ll Be Doing :
Ensure Patient Safety : Confirm patient identity and exam verification before starting each scan, always following department protocols.
Collaborate with Physicians : Work with healthcare professionals to provide precise diagnostic imaging.
Put Patients at Ease : Prepare patients for scans, ensuring they understand the procedure and feel comfortable.
Provide Technical Support : Insert IVs when necessary, position patients carefully (including those with limited mobility), and maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
Accurate Documentation : Maintain detailed patient records in the EPIC system, ensuring images are sent to PACS correctly. What We’re Looking For :
Required :
Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
NYS licensure (must be obtained prior to starting the position).
2 years of experience, with Level 1 Trauma Center experience highly valued.
BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
Preferred :
Injection certification (must be willing to complete during orientation).
Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment. Soft Skills That Will Help You Shine :
