As an MRI Technologist, your role will be key in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing MRI scans. You’ll work with a GE scanner, perform diagnostic imaging, and help patients feel comfortable during their procedures. Specific duties include:
- Operating MRI machines with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality scans.
- Preparing patients for scans, explaining the procedure, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Coordinating with physicians to ensure timely receipt of results.
- Documenting procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality and following safety protocols.
- Inserting IVs as necessary for certain tests.
- 2 years of MRI experience in a clinical setting.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- NY License (required).
- GE Scanner Experience is a must.
- Level 1 Trauma Center Experience preferred.
- ARRT certification (preferred), or the willingness to obtain it after starting.
