As a Sterile Processing Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient sterilization of surgical instruments used in life-saving procedures. Your responsibilities will include :
Sterilization & Packaging : Inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
Operating Equipment : Operating steam sterilizers and performing simple maintenance to ensure optimal function.
Decontamination & Cross-Contamination Prevention : Following strict procedures to decontaminate instruments and prevent cross-contamination.
Inventory Management : Receiving, storing, and maintaining surgical supply inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Quality Assurance : Performing daily quality checks on supplies and sterilization processes to ensure precision and patient safety. What We’re Looking For :
Must-Haves :
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (HSPA or CBSPD)
BLS certification
At least 3 years of experience in sterile processing, preferably in large hospital settings (500 beds )
Travel experience (minimum 6 months)
Two professional references from recent employers
Preferred Experience :
Level 1 trauma center experience
Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER Cert)
