Patient Care : Prepare and instruct patients for exams, ensuring they feel at ease. Assist the Radiologist during procedures to deliver optimal care.
High-Quality Imaging : Use your technical skills to position patients and select exposure factors, ensuring diagnostic-quality radiologic images.
Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with other team members to maintain efficient room turnover, assist others when needed, and contribute to a smooth, well-organized department.
Safety and Compliance : Follow strict protocols to maintain medication security, patient confidentiality, and adhere to all safety guidelines in patient care.
Documentation & Information Management : Utilize Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS to maintain accurate records and contribute to hospital performance improvement initiatives. What We’re Looking For :
BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Rad Tech
New York State License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
