Description
Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Assembler to join our client in Sparks, NV
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:
- Perform complex assembly, assembly testing, adjustments and quality checks
- Review production data to identify areas on non-conformance and implement modifications as necessary.
- Prepare status reports.
- Work with team members to devise and develop modifications and improvements to equipment, processes, systems, and tooling
- Ensure and verify material is handled and loaded on production lines properly o Give direction and training on product/customer specifications and workmanship standards
- Audit all stages of the build sequence for completeness, consistency, and workmanship
- Provide immediate feedback and training when problems occur
- Work independently with moderate supervision
What you will receive:
Duration: Temporary, 12 months
Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $22-24/hour DOE
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' production or related work experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical training or equivalent
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Skilled in the operation of a variety of assembly tools
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good MS Word, Excel and MRP skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
