Pay Rate: $25.00
2nd Shift hours: 2:30 pm - 10 pm
Duration: Temp-Hire (after 4 months)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safely and efficiently entering exiting, and diverting trains using a computer-based system
- Following SOPs
- Monitoring and control all automatic trains and guideway activities
- Radio communications, monitoring CCTV system, dispatching trains for passenger service
- Monitoring system alarms and any other functions which affect the operations of the Sky Train System
- Responsible for the power configuration of the Electrical Power System
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activities on the PHX Sky Train System by use of a shift logbook and pass-downs
- Complies with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors
- Maintain required certifications and qualifications as they pertain to Central Control Operations
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Computer Savvy with various software
- Air Traffic Controller experience (preferred)
- Can communicate effectively and calmly via radio
- Able to Effectively Communicate clearly.
- Problem Solving
- Adaptability
- Stress Management
- No premium Shift.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must have Valid Driver's license
- Must be a Team Player
- Must be able to sit for long hours (entire shift)
- Must pass Criminal background check
- Airport requirements must pass an FAA background and security check to obtain an SIDA access badge.
- This position is considered "safety-sensitive" and is subject to alcohol and drug testing under Federal regulations.
