Acara Solutions is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Prescott AZ
We are seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and improving high-tech products used in complex systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing circuits, microprocessors, and power supplies for innovative technologies, ensuring seamless integration with communication technologies such as USB, PCIe, and I2C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop digital circuits for cutting-edge systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other bench equipment to test and validate designs.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and validate circuit boards, ensuring they meet design specifications and production requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices in digital circuit design and system development.
- Apply industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure that products meet necessary certifications.
- Participate in the transition of new designs into the production phase, ensuring smooth implementation and quality control.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- BSEE
- 3 yrs minimum experience working with Vivado for FPGA and CPLD design
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience designing avionics products that require government certification (FAA, FCC, etc.).
- Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Knowledge and experience in transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
- Strong background in working with communication protocols such as USB, PCIe, and I2C.
