Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed Cable Inspections.
- Uses various measuring devices.
- Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
- Monitor and verify quality through statistical processes or other control procedures.
- Communicates effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $19 - $23/hr.
Hours: 4/10-1st Shift. 5:00 AM EST - 3:30 PM / Mon-Thurs with OT on the weekends.
Length: Temp (12 Months)

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with soldered and crimp cable inspection using IPC-A-620 standards.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Reading Engineering Drawings.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Cable Harness.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Documentation.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in IPC-WHMA-A-620.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Measuring and Soldering.
- Able to identify non-conformances IAW IPC-A-620, & specific other requirements.
- Ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas if needed.
- This includes detail orientation and proficiency at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
- Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
- When resolving quality issues, interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management.
- Proficiency in using personal computers and newer applications.
