Acara Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our international manufacturing client for their Everett, WA plant near Boeing, on a full-time, direct hire salaried opportunity.
The Maintenance Supervisor will primarily be responsible for supervising the maintenance team and coordinating repair and maintenance schedules. An ideal candidate would be mechanically savvy, enjoy solving problems and have excellent communication skills. The position primarily focuses on maintaining the machines on the manufacturing floor with some possible facilities/HVAC work.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains positive engagement with employees.
- Reviews job orders to determine priorities.
- Engages with production teams to ensure production mechanical needs are met.
- Monitors and maintains maintenance management database and assigns work orders accordingly.
- Investigates and reports on corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
- Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan maintenance activities.
- Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint with company policies and procedures.
- Confers with management, engineering and quality control departments to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Minimum 5 years' experience troubleshooting machinery in an industrial setting.
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a leadership role (senior or lead technician, or supervisor)
