Description
Acara Solutions is currently seeking a Production Test Technician for our client located in Austin, TX near Round Rock.
Pay rate: $19.50 /hr. ( 10% shift differential)
Available Shifts:
1st shift Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
2nd shift Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm Candidates will be required to train on 1st shift for 4-12 weeks!
Job Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
o Perform the selection of specialized test equipment, set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of moderately complex circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
o Develop test specifications, methods and procedures
o Monitor progress, relay concerns, and provide status reports
o Plan lay-outs and perform complex testing operations
o Work independently with moderate supervision
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Good visual and manual dexterity
o Strong understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
o Ability to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of testing and measuring instruments
o Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
o Ability to interact with other members of the organization
o Strong verbal and written communication skills required
o Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and 10 key skills o Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Education, Certifications and Experience
o 2-4 years production or related work experience
o A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience
o Vocational or technical training or equivalent
o Digital and/or analog systems testing experience
