Aleron is seeking a 3rd shift Setup Technician for our medical device client in Rochester, NY. This is a direct placement opportunity!
What You'll Do
- Perform setups and other production-related duties to maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of parts to customers.
- Work on all presses as production requirements dictate.
- Maintain cycle and process integrity under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
- Collaborate with support departments to ensure tools, machines, and processes align with established protocols.
- Maintain documentation and paperwork to support production cycles and procedures.
- Receive training from Senior Setup personnel and Process Technicians to enhance your knowledge and experience on the production floor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in plastic injection molding
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and practice correct molding and setup methods.
- A positive attitude towards learning new jobs and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interface with team members as needed and direct tasks according to production schedules.
- Proficiency in reading machine dial gauges and interfaces on injection molding machines.
- Skill in monitoring machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes.

- Pay: $22.25 - $27.40/hr. based on experience
