Test Engineer

ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract to hire position available

Test Engineer

$52.00-$55.00 per hour (2 years experience)

• Working successfully within a team, the Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
• Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
• Develop test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products.
• Development of functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests on hardware, software, and systems.
• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing methods and troubleshoot hardware, software, and systems for all product development and manufacturing phases.
• Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with test engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree.
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments
• Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
