Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Lexington, NC. Interested?
Here's what you'd do :
- As a Warehouse Operations Technician, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high-energy warehouse environment, providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world.
- This role focuses on the receiving, putting away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production.
- Additionally, the role may focus on the interaction with the MRP system for accurately tracking the material movements.
- Follow all safety requirements, including the use of all needed personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to and maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements - i.e. ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to the specified location, and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.
- Ensure all material is correctly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.
- Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.
- Immediately notify the supervisor of any quality or delivery issues
- Use of powered industrial vehicles in the movement of material.
- Certification for the use of some tools and equipment may be needed, such as cranes, forklifts, order pickers, scissor lifts, and fall protection equipment.
- Meet production schedules for material delivery to production.
- Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.
