Job Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and motions associated with Criminal Defense.
• Assist with organizing discovery materials and ensuring all documentation is filed accurately and on time.
• Assist with scheduling court hearings, depositions, conferences, and trial preparation.
• Assist by communicating with clients and prospective clients when needed.
• Work closely in a team environment and provide updates while building knowledge of Firm and client processes.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a Criminal Defense caseload in Florida. (REQUIRED)
• Be Fluent in Spanish. (REQUIRED)
• Self-motivated, Self-starter.
• Strong Organizational Skills.
• Strong Writing Skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume caseload while maintaining a high level of productivity.
• Be comfortable with "paperless" procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues head attorney.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
