Job Title: Dispatch and Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Bakersfield, CA | Full-Time | $24 - $30 Hourly (Based on Experience)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the dispatch of our restoration technicians and managing the scheduling of jobs to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate works efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, follows instructions, and maintains a positive attitude while providing excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the dispatch of restoration technicians to job sites based on priority and availability.
- Manage the scheduling of jobs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and timely completion.
- Communicate with clients to confirm appointment times and provide updates on job status.
- Maintain accurate records of job assignments, technician availability, and client interactions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to address any scheduling conflicts or urgent requests.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in scope or urgency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
- Utilize scheduling software to track technician locations, job progress, and resource allocation.
- Generate reports and analyze data to improve scheduling efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure DASH compliance by creating DASH jobs, uploading documents, managing DASH dates, and noting scheduled appointments.
- Use Adobe to send and retrieve contracts and signed documents efficiently.
- Oversee fleet maintenance using Fleetmatics, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participate in our 24-hour on-call rotation, answering and dispatching after hours and on weekends as dictated by the on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar role, preferably in the disaster restoration industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of disaster restoration processes and terminology is a plus.
- Experience with DASH software, Adobe for document management, and Fleetmatics.
