Contract Security Guard Instructor Job Description

THIS POSITION IS PART-TIME

The person filling the Security Instructor role will be accountable for consistently following through on scheduled appointments and using his/her resourcefulness to get the job done right and on time. The Security Instructor role will require firearm safety knowledge, communication, strong technical skills and will be filled best by someone who can work independently yet stay engaged with team members across the organization. The Security Instructor role requires natural strengths in both detail and follow through.

Position Summary

We are looking for an action-oriented and confident Security Instructor to join our team. The right candidate will have an instinctive ability to communicate and a commitment to excellence. The ideal Security Instructor will be highly proficient at maintaining excellent relationships with students and classroom hosts.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for instructing security training classes to our company's standards
• Provide an elite training experience, exercise, and implement exceptional customer service skills
• Stay up to date on software applications utilized by our Training Department: must be able to set up a projector, connect it to a computer and queue videos for class
• Maintain open line of communication with our Training Department including our Team and/or any other's within the department.

Requirements

• Have at least 1-year experience in sales, marketing, security instruction, or related field preferred.
• Cognitive ability to excel in fact finding and follow through with the ability to specify and systemize tasks and processes
• Experience consistently meeting deadlines
• Natural ability to be both decisive and resilient
• Willingness to work hard under pressure and “get the job done” without excuse
• Display ability to be a proactive and resourceful problem solver
• Excellent communication with a team and a team-oriented attitude

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
