Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as Chief Wealth Management Strategist. This role will shape the future of wealth management by combining strategic vision with operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for our wealth management division, driving growth and revenue expansion.
- Collaborate closely with Alerus Investment and Fiduciary Services and Alerus Securities Unit Leaders to achieve annual revenue and net income growth objectives.
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the division, setting and achieving annual new business goals and client retention objectives.
- Identify and assess opportunities for growth, including new markets, products, and service offerings.
- Maintain awareness of ERM, Audit, Compliance, and SOX Controls, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Lead preparation and response to regulatory information requests, examinations, and audits.
Requirements
- 15 years of progressive wealth management experience, with 7 years in a team leadership capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with CFP, CFA, MBA, or related advanced education or certification a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to change and adapt quickly.
- Ability to lead, prioritize, and execute on multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience in recruiting and building high-performing teams.

Salary Estimate
$150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
