Job Title: Enterprise Risk Consultant
This role supports the Enterprise Risk Management Committee by developing and maintaining enterprise risk monitoring and reporting systems, conducting divisional risk assessments, providing analytical support to finance and risk areas, and coordinating operational risk functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Function 1: Risk Analysis and Reporting (60%)
- Conduct divisional risk reviews in accordance with established enterprise risk review program.
- Monitor divisional Key Risk Indicators and investigate and report on threshold breaches.
- Support analysis for stress testing and capital allocation.
- Investigate incidents and monitor findings through remediation.
- Job Function 2: Operational Risk Management (30%)
- Coordinate Business Continuity Planning process and documentation.
- Support Model Risk Management program.
- Evaluate Risk Acceptance requests and recommend appropriate action.
- Support estimation of Allowances for Loan and Lease Losses.
- Facilitate New Product Risk Assessments with management.
- Job Function 3: Administrative Support (10%)
- Track issues through remediation.
- Maintain the company's Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance systems.
- Periodically update risk appetite statements.
- Assist with ERM Meeting prep and minutes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with lending, financial services operations management, financial institution risk management, or related capacities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
