The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization's computer networks and systems from unauthorized access, attacks and theft.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures to protect the organization's computer networks and systems
- Conducts regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats and weaknesses in the system
- Monitor network activity and investigates any suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Responds to security incidents and provides incident response support
- Collaborates with other IT teams to ensure the security of all systems and applications
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity or related field
- Active Secret Clearance at employment start date (an Active Interim Secret Clearance may substitute)
- DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security CE, CCNA Security or other approved certification(s))
