What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Alesig Consulting, LLC?
The Program Manager will manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of technical solutions. Shall have a full understanding of industry best practices processes, such as the Project Management Institute's PMBOK® using an Agile approach and Program Management Institute’s Standard for Program Management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leading cross-functional project teams on complex projects.
- Orchestrating the customer and Contractor personnel through formulation, execution, review, and validation of task plans and deliverable items.
- Possess the capability of managing and controlling schedules and costs to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort.
- Provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.
- Build and maintain professional relationships including engagement with government agencies, industry partners, and key stakeholders to identify business opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
- Facilitate regular team meetings (such as daily standups, weekly check-ins) to discuss progress, address challenges, and keep the team aligned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, stakeholders, and the technical team. Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations on the project's progress, risks, and any changes to the scope.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment with client objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of program management experience in computer systems, engineering, or software development Federal environments
- Bachelor's degree (technical or management)
- PMP Certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Current or prior USDA experience
