The Project Manager will manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT teams to design and implement collaborative workflows and custom solutions that enhance business processes. The project supports IMCOM at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. This is a hybrid-work opportunity and does require some on-site support at Fort Sam Houston.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Facilitate regular team meetings (such as daily standups, weekly check-ins) to discuss progress, address challenges, and keep the team aligned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, stakeholders, and the development team. Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations on the project's progress, risks, and any changes to the scope.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment with client objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the SharePoint development meets the project’s quality standards, through regular code reviews, testing, and validation.
- Oversee change control processes to evaluate requests for changes and ensure they align with the project’s goals and timelines.
- Serve as a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years management experience in computer systems, engineering, or software development within the last ten (10) years.
- Minimum of an interim Secret Clearance is required by start date.
- A solid history of managing software development teams.
- Experience working with configuration management, ideally in a SharePoint development environment.
- Be capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract.
- Possess a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life cycle of software in military systems.
- Experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of software and computer resources for Army systems.
- Possess the capability of managing and controlling schedules and costs to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort.
- Experience providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is required OR four (4) additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for the degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with SharePoint 2013, 2016, or SharePoint Online.
- Understanding SharePoint architecture, workflows, and customization.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and PowerApps.

Ability to track and identify upcoming opportunities via SAM.gov, GovWin, or other platforms.

Experience building and maintaining relationships with DoD clients and key stakeholders.

Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, contracting vehicles, and funding cycles.

Experience building and maintaining professional relationships within the IT industry in San Antonio, including engagement with government agencies, industry partners, and key stakeholders to identify business opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
