The System Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize our systems, troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform system installation, configuration and maintenance tasks
- Monitor the performance and security of servers, networks and systems
- Implement and manage security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues
- Maintain and update system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements
- Respond to and resolve user-reported technical issues in a timely manner
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support when necessary
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Secret Clearance at employment start date (an Active Interim Secret Clearance may substitute)
- DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security CE, CCNA Security or other approved certifications)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience
