System Administrator

The System Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize our systems, troubleshoot issues and implement best practices. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Perform system installation, configuration and maintenance tasks
• Monitor the performance and security of servers, networks and systems
• Implement and manage security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues
• Maintain and update system documentation and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements
• Respond to and resolve user-reported technical issues in a timely manner
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning and testing
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support when necessary 
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Active Secret Clearance at employment start date (an Active Interim Secret Clearance may substitute)
  • DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security CE, CCNA Security or other approved certifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience
