Job Description: We’re seeking a full-time Regional Hospital Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville, GA. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses strong financial expertise, leadership, decision-making capabilities, and strategic foresight. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, coordinating, and evaluating the financial programs and supporting systems of the hospital.
- Approves and coordinates changes and improvements in automated financial systems.
- Develops and implements finance, billing, accounting, and auditing procedures.
- Establishes and implements short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Serves on planning and policy-making committees.
Position Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s Preferred)
- At least 5 years in a Healthcare Finance or Accounting Leadership role
