What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach Specialist position at ALETHEIA HOUSE?
Provide recruitment, engagement, and retention services to members of the population of focus for Aletheia House programs. The Outreach Specialist will assist eligible program participants in obtaining primary health care and provide safe transportation to and from medical appointments, behavioral health appointments, social services appointments, grocery store, class, etc. This is the perfect position for an individual who has the passion to actively recruit. The area of service is Lee County.
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Organized and clear communication
- Recruitment experience
Travel:
- This position requires daily travel to recruit participants in the counties serviced and to attend meetings and training located in Montgomery, AL.
- Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation.
- Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9a-7p
