Job Description: We are seeking skilled Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team in East Tucson. The ideal candidates will have experience working with youth in residential settings and possess expertise in de-escalation techniques for managing physical and verbal aggression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety and supervision of residents at all times.
- Implement behavior management strategies and crisis intervention protocols.
- Utilize approved de-escalation techniques to manage and defuse potentially volatile situations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Document resident behaviors, progress, and any incidents accurately and promptly.
- Facilitate and engage residents in daily routines and therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to provide comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth in a residential environment.
- Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Required Certifications
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card
- CPR & First Aid
- Article 9
- Prevention & Support Certification
- Medication administration certification (if applicable)
- Valid driver's license and demonstrated safe driving record.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
