Security Manager II - Alternate Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Security Manager

Salary Range: $65,000-90,000

Location: Peterson SFB, CO

Specific duties: 

• Provide support to the government for the entire spectrum of security disciplines, including collateral, physical, personnel and IT
• Assist with managing and maintaining DoD standards and the operation of 319 Combat Training Squadron (CTS) SCIF
• Adhere to all applicable directives, publications, handbooks, policy letters, and procedures involving security disciplines provided by the COR
• Assist with annual SCIF security inspections, self and spot inspections, as needed
• Interface with various HQ Space Force, DoD, and multiple national agencies, and other government entities
• Review documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issues
• Prepare and process incoming/outgoing visitor access requests (VARs) via DISS or other means for 319 CTS
• Maintain SCI billet roster and submit SCI nomination requests as needed to STARCOM SSO
• Perform SCI indoctrination/debriefs and process all associated paperwork
• Conduct security training (as required) during staff meetings, Commander’s Call or as a result of any security infractions
• Verify security clearances vis DISS, NBIS and Scattered Castles
• Provide overall access security support and control
• Other security duties as assigned 

Required Skills:  

• Security Experience & Knowledge - Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret, adhere to, and apply regulatory guidelines and policies and procedures, including being detail oriented, maintaining rigorous compliance, and providing information on security operations. 
• Customer Service - Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a diverse customer set and build customer relations by responding in a timely manner, researching and providing accurate information and direction to a wide array of inquiries, and promotes productive cooperation. 
• Communication - Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively interact and collaborate with colleagues, as well as internal and external government customers. 

Required Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years related work experience 
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of directly related work experience will be considered in lieu of this education requirement. 
• Ability to represent company interests and support a team-oriented working environment. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance required.  
• US Citizenship is required.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-Vol. 4, and ICD-705
