General Duties:
Aleut is seeking a qualified and experienced Systems Administrator to support the National Security Space Institute (NSSI) Peterson SFB, CO. The successful candidate will assist the IT Manager and ISSM and be responsible for operating, maintaining, supporting, and securing NSSI information systems.
Specific Duties:
- Perform system administration, monitoring and management for enterprise systems, applications, and users in both virtual infrastructure and physical systems
- Administer and manage network Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), end user profiles and configurations, and network-related services such as Domain Name Service (DNS), DHCP, MS Exchange,
- Ensure compliance with current Cyber Security policies, concepts and measures
- Develop, document and monitor cybersecurity compliance requirements
- Operate in a Continuous Monitoring and Change Control Program environment
- Deploy and manage highly available virtual server and desktop solutions
- Manage software/patch deployment configurations for standard OS and applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot software application and network component issues
- Work with team members to complete operational projects and tasks promptly
- Administer, build and maintain SharePoint Online sites
- Perform logistics management of office equipment to include procurement, configuration and installation of computers, printers, fax machines, copy/print devices and audio-visual equipment
- Manage and maintain various telecommunication accounts and system operations and maintenance
Required Skills:
- Experience with configuration/certification and audit/analysis Windows/Linux operating systems and system virtualization in Peer-to-peer, LAN & WAN networks
- Microsoft Active Directory administration
- Windows Server, M365 cloud services & solutions
- Experience with storage solutions
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
- Minimum of 5 years demonstratable experience in an Active Directory domain environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required

Education and Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (or related field) from an accredited institution (5 years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted for the education requirement).
Salary Range: $75K-$95K
