ASSOCIATE BROKER
Reports to: ARE General Manager
Status: Full – Time/Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Broker of Aleut Real Estate (ARE) for selling commercial lending services and assisting clients with commercial real estate transactions on behalf of Tayal Brokerage (Tayal) in assigned area or territory. This role involves prospecting and acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, analyzing market trends, negotiating deals, managing and mentoring licensee performance, and ensuring smooth transactions while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

This role involves prospecting and acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, analyzing market trends, negotiating deals, managing and mentoring licensee performance, and ensuring smooth transactions while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Embrace the mission, values, and strategic goals of The Aleut Corporation (Aleut) ARE, and Tayal.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, acquiring new accounts while managing relationships with existing customers.
- Sell commercial services, including real estate, land, construction, , by identifying client needs and presenting tailored financial solutions.
- Conduct market research and comparative analyses to assess property values.
- Create Broker Opinion of Values for clients.
- Assist clients in buying, selling, and leasing commercial properties, providing expert consultation on market trends, property valuations, and investment strategies.
- Negotiate contract terms, financing options, and pricing on behalf of clients.
- Manage transactions from start to finish, including drafting contracts, preparing loan proposals, overseeing closings, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Ensure brokerage transaction files are complete and compliant with relevant laws and regulations prior to closings and/or commissions paid to licensees.
- Assist the Designated Broker in the day to day operations of the Brokerage.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to licensees in the brokerage.
- Work collaboratively with the Aleut Corporation Finance and Accounting team to ensure brokerage operations are well functioning and have appropriate capcaity.
- Work collaboratively with Designated Broker and other interal teammates on the strategic direction of the brokerage.Market properties through listings, advertisements, and networking events to generate leads and drive sales.
- Stay informed on changes in commercial real estate laws, lending regulations, and industry best practices.
- Track sales, revenue, and market data to assess business performance and identify grow
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- In-depth understanding of commercial lending products, financial analysis, and underwriting principles.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate laws, property valuation, and market trends.
- Ability to interpret financial documents and structures that align with client needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software, financial modeling tools, and real estate platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Real Estate License.
- Three (3) years of real estate experience.
- Associate Broker’s License or successful completion of the Broker’s Exam with eligibility to affiliate with a Licensed Broker.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time.
