Recruiting for a Village Public Safety Officer (VPSO): Full-time (37.5 hours per week) position is in False Pass, Alaska a remote community located on the Aleutian Chain. Job duties include but are not limited to law enforcement, community policing, fire safety/prevention/and suppression, emergency medical, and search and rescue. Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical fitness test, criminal background check, medical examination, and complete the 9 week VPSO Basic Training Academy, 1-week Rural Fire Protection Specialist certification course, and obtain ETT certification. Salary Range: $65,890.00 – $78,800.00 DOE benefits, including housing assistance.
