Overview
The Sr. Solutions Analyst has a deep understanding of one or two technological solutions employed by the Alex Lee family of businesses. The analyst is responsible for recommending, analyzing, designing, configuring, integrating and implementing solutions in their area of expertise. The analyst is responsible for ensuring that the solutions that they are responsible for comply with standards and regulations and satisfy business needs.
Responsibilities
1) Solution Delivery: Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications while recommending potential enhancements. Design and develop IT solutions that satisfy those requirements and improve the overall effectiveness of the delivered solution.2) Solution Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new solutions and systems within the existing IT infrastructure. Collaborate with other IT teams to facilitate smooth transitions and eliminate disruptions.3) Solution Planning: Work with IT teams to create detailed plans that align with resource availability and business demands. Make planning and resource recommendations where possible. Stay well informed of the project activities and be actively engaged such that delays and risks are communicated in a timely and effective manner.4) Solution Expertise / Support: Provide support for one or two IT solutions or systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly. Assist the PM teams with requirements intake, providing insight and guidance to deliver rough estimates on requests. May be required to generate ‘adhoc’ reporting and provide appropriate technical hands-on support.5) Solution Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of their solutions and support the technical teams in their documentation efforts regarding these solutions, as well. This includes integration documentation, process flows, and maintaining the appropriate IT documentation on their solutions such as data in IT support software (Workfront, Fresh Service, etc.). The analyst must also ensure that business unit personnel complete all Standard Operating Procedures for the solutions for which they are responsible. 6) Solution Data: The analyst has an expert-level understanding of the data involved within the solution, inputs, outputs, and internal data. Analysts may be asked to provide guidance or support issues related to data inconsistency, errors, etc.7) Solution and Stakeholder engagement: Establish and maintain working relationships with the business partners who utilize their solutions. Ensure that the solution aligns with business goals. Provide regular updates and status updates to either business stakeholders or the PM team, depending on the activity. Facilitates meetings with business partners to discuss solution performance, KPIs, roadmap, etc.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.• 4 years of IT-related experience, preferably with targeted solutions, in solutions analysis, design, and implementation. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills• Experience providing relevant facts to team members who are making challenging business-impacting decisions in a high-pressure situation.• Ability to manage competing priorities and provide guidance when necessary. • Ability to quickly assess a problem or need and determine the best course of action and coordinate the execution of the action.• Ability to interact with people from Director-level down.
• Weekend and/or after-hours work will be necessary. • Responsible for on-call duties to provide application support during off hours. • Works well alone and through others to accomplish deliverables. • Ability to manage own work time and priorities in accordance with aggressive timelines and budgets
