Investment Analyst/Associate – Leveraged Loans
📍 New York, NY | On-Site, 5 Days/Week
Are you ready to take the next big step in your credit investing career? A leading global credit-focused investment manager is expanding its US footprint and looking for a dynamic Investment Associate to join its Leveraged Loans and High Yield team in New York.
As part of a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll work closely with senior research professionals to actively monitor and analyze a portfolio of sub-investment grade credit names— across leveraged loans and high yield—while also playing a key role in sourcing and underwriting new opportunities in the market.
🔍 What You'll Do:
- Conduct deep-dive credit analysis on a portfolio of leveraged loans and high yield bonds
- Provide buy/sell/hold recommendations across an existing universe of issuers
- Lead due diligence on new issue opportunities in both primary and secondary markets
- Take ownership of industry coverage, with an emphasis on TMT (tech, media, telecom) if applicable
- Interact regularly with portfolio managers and contribute to investment committee discussions
- Stay ahead of market trends, credit events, and sector developments
🎯 Who We're Looking For:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally from investment banking, buy-side credit research, or CLO-focused investment platforms
- Background in sub-investment grade credit is a must; TMT exposure is a strong plus
- A strong fundamental credit skill set and an appetite for covering names and driving independent views
- Motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to take on greater responsibility quickly
- Comfortable in a flat structure with significant exposure to senior decision-makers
