We’re partnered with a Global Commodity Trading Powerhouse looking to hire a Pricing & Market Data Analyst to join their technology function in NYC. This role is a key part of the team's North American operations.
You’ll be embedded in a small, fast-moving team, collaborating across trading desks, risk teams, and IT colleagues globally. Expect hands-on exposure to a wide range of commodities—gas, power, metals, and more—as you support front-to-back systems that are core to trading activity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the flow of pricing data into trading and risk systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor system health and proactively escalate or resolve any interruptions.
- Support internal pricing tools and ensure all time-critical processes run smoothly.
- Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies and valuation issues impacting trades.
- Perform light root-cause analysis and corrective action when batch processes or data flows fail.
- Act as the primary liaison for pricing support across the North American region.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in pricing, market data, or trade support—ideally in commodities.
- Familiarity with CTRM or ETRM systems is a plus.
- Technically comfortable, with the ability to work across tech and ops teams.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
