We’re seeking a reliable, seasoned Sales Representative focused on working with custom builders and architects. This is a B2B role but involves collaborating with architects, interior designers, and homeowners. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to achieve results. Experience in building materials sales and strong connections in the builder community are highly desirable.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional lead generation plan to exceed sales targets.
- Conduct outbound and inbound account management and participate in training and professional development.
- Identify decision-makers and build relationships with builders, architects, and other industry stakeholders.
- Use CRM software to maintain a database of prospects and capture customer details accurately.
- Manage the sales cycle from quoting and order entry to product demonstrations and installation guidance.
- Attend industry conferences to build a network and gain expertise.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in building materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment with strong time-management skills.
