We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Accounting Clerk to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills. This person will work closely with the accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Receipts
- Client requests
- Invoicing
- Docusign
- Maintain organized records and documentation of client records
- Prepare account analysis
- Assist in month end close
- Prepare journal entries
- Organize, manage, and maintain digital accounting files and records
- Regularly review and update digital files to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support the accounting team and general office upkeep with additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Associates (or higher) degree in accounting or a related field
- One or more years of accounting experience
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills with strong analytical ability
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
Salary: $60,000 per year
