As Product Developer of the Alexander team, one is responsible for building new product lines along with other new products for current product lines. Research and development of new products along with review of current product lines will be crucial in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to the following
- This position will be responsible for researching products manufactured/sold by competitors along with researching product suggestions by customers and other sources.
- Develop new product lines with plans and strategies to introduce the new product lines and/or products to the market.
- Devise and implement strategies that leverage brand equity that result in increased sales and revenues.
- Work with Sales and Marketing Team to develop and implement creative marketing strategies for new items and slow-moving items.
- Establish and maintain some key customer and vendor relationships to assist in the product line creations.
- Responsible for meeting with various members within the company to discuss pros and cons of products.
- Report to GM/Controller and another management on current products with details for future growth.
- Work with all departmental managers to define and implement strategies for expanding products base.
- Identify policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Travel to customers and/or vendors, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Education and/or Experience – 2 years related experience and/or training with leading all facets of product development and familiar with working with distributors.
- Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors virtually or in person.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills – proficient experience with Microsoft Office, company ERP system

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
