Experienced Courtesy Officer needed for Marsh Cove Apartments (166 units) in Fernandina Beach, FL. The Courtesy Officer MUST be a certified Police Officer, will be responsible for assisting Management in providing courteous, visible and reassuring presence among residents whenever on the property; for assisting Management in the informing of residents of rules and regulations regarding all common and recreational areas, and, in general, assisting Management in deterring criminal acts. Specific responsibilities shall include without limitation, the following:

_____    Be on-call 24 hours a day for any disturbances or safety related calls

_____    MUST be a Certified Police Officer

 _____   Meet personally with any resident who has been a victim of criminal activity occurring on the property. (If the resident requests to have contact made)

 _____    Walk the property on a scheduled basis (as often as possible in uniform)

               Maintain current parking procedure and possibly be available for all need of towing cars that are illegal

_____     Report on a weekly basis any lights out on the property Report on a daily basis any and all incidents.                                   

               This report will be signed, dated, time of the walk noted, and then delivered to the Management office. A police incident report will be attached when appropriate. 

_____    Keep watch on pool as it closes at 9 pm and people like to jump fence, and check the security of the leasing office.

_____    Attend as many property-sponsored social functions as possible. 

_____   Assist Management in handling any resident problems when so requested

 _____   Notify Management in advance of planned absences.

_____   Meet with Management at least weekly.

_____   Report either personally or by phone any complaints given to the Officer from the office and report on the Daily Activity Report, to be submitted to Management weekly.

_____   Pass out all Late letters,  Violation Letters, and any other letters from the office. (late letters go out on the 4^th & 10^th of the month)     

_____   Serve in any other capacity that will promote good will with residents throughout the community.

Will perform other duties and assume other responsibilities.
