Alexander Rose International has partnered with a clinical-stage biotech developing transformative therapies for immune-mediated and rare diseases.
We are seeking a hands-on Bioanalytical/ analytical Scientist to join a lean and dynamic research team in San Francisco. This role will support the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and other novel oncology therapeutics β with a strong focus on method development, compound characterization, and IND-enabling studies.
π What You'll Do
- Perform HPLC (RP/IEX/SEC), LC/MS, CE-SDS, cIEF, and spectrophotometry-based analysis of small molecules and biologics
- Develop and optimize new bioanalytical methods in support of a versatile drug pipeline
- Collaborate with CROs and internal teams to advance IND-enabling studies
- Prepare and analyze samples, maintain accurate lab records (ELN), and write reports and SOPs
- Troubleshoot instrumentation (AB Sciex, Thermo, Agilent, Bruker, etc.) and support lab operations
π€ Requirements
- MS in Analytical Chemistry, Biophysics, or Biochemistry with 4 years of industry experience, or PhD with 0β2 years
- Proven experience with LC/MS, HPLC, and CE techniques in a pharma/biotech setting
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, startup-like environment as all scientists work at the bench
- Familiarity with ADC characterization, small molecule/biologic workflows, and CRO partnerships is highly desired
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and excellent documentation skills
