We are seeking a skilled Field Representative to join our team at Alexander & Schmidt. As a key member of our loss control team, you will conduct on-site inspections of commercial and residential properties to identify potential risks and hazards. Your findings will be used to inform insurance policy decisions and help clients manage their risk exposure effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform site inspections to gather data on property conditions and potential hazards.
- Develop detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Communicate with clients to discuss inspection results and provide guidance on risk management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and client interactions.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in commercial insurance loss control, preferably with a carrier or as an independent contractor.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty lines, including property, general liability, auto, and workers' compensation.
- Exceptional communication skills, including writing ability, organizational skills, and computer proficiency.
- Ability to travel within a reasonable territory (approximately 60 miles).
- Professional certifications such as CSP, OHST, ALCM, and/or ARM are highly desirable but not mandatory.
