Unarmed Security Officer/Site Supervisor

Job Overview
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets. This role involves managing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and responding to incidents effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of security practices.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities or breaches.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks and implement corrective measures.
• Help facilitate training programs for security personnel on conflict management, emergency response, and loss prevention strategies.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns or incidents.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
• Strong background in Security.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is Required, can be completed once hired.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Knowledge of security techniques and strategies to safeguard assets.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential threats or vulnerabilities.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a culture of safety and vigilance within the organization.

Pay: $18.83 per hour
