As Director of Operations, you will report directly to Alexander Shunnarah playing a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the firm’s operations. You’ll oversee daily functions across all departments, ensuring that our team operates at peak performance while continuously striving for innovation, efficiency, and profitability.

What You’ll Do:

Operational Leadership Across Departments:

• Oversee daily operations across all departments, including marketing, finance, HR, and IT, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic growth objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for department heads, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and efficiency, aligning with the firm’s mission and vision.
• Lead the expansion of our physical locations and operational footprint across multiple states.

Team Development and Culture Building:

• Foster a high-performing culture by mentoring department leaders, building teams that excel in efficiency, accountability, and client service.
• Ensure all staff are aligned with the firm’s core values and strategic goals.

Financial Performance Management:

• Monitor and optimize operational costs while maintaining profitability, aiming for a revenue margin that reflects the firm’s continued success and growth.
• Regularly analyze firm metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.

Process and Technology Advancements:

• Implement and oversee new technologies and processes that boost operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Ensure the development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments to create consistency and quality in daily operations.

Project Leadership:

• Lead significant operational projects aimed at enhancing client service, increasing profitability, and streamlining processes, ensuring that every project yields a measurable return on investment.
• Investigate deviations from key performance indicators (KPIs) and design strategies to address and resolve issues.

KPI Accountability:

• Profitability %
• Revenue
• Develop robust reporting
• Implement predictive analytics
• Coordinate with financial institutions, renegotiate loans and manage quarterly tax obligations.
• Supervise building and lease management for multiple office locations.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• At least 7 years in an operational leadership role, preferably in the legal industry or another high-volume professional services firm.
• Proven success in managing multi-office operations with revenues in the nine-figure range, driving both growth and efficiency.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. An advanced degree in Business or Law is preferred.

Skills:

• Exceptional strategic thinking and operational execution, with a track record of driving results through efficient processes and high-performance team leadership.
• Strong proficiency in leveraging technology to streamline operations, with experience implementing data-driven decision-making frameworks like the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
