The Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to ensure the security and compliance of our systems with NIST and CMMC standards. You will implement cybersecurity policies, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents. This is a full-time/perm position No 3rd party applicants will be considered, do not reach out Must be on-site in the Southern, ME area. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and protocols
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing
- Respond to incidents and breaches
- Perform ISSM/ISSO duties and manage security documentation
- Provide cybersecurity training and stay updated on threats
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance
- Proficient in security tools and incident response
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications
- Knowledge of NIST and CMMC standards
