Blush: Rooftop Terrace, located on the fifth floor (rooftop level) of Alexandra Inn, offers a breathtaking dining experience (indoor and outdoor dining options) with panoramic views of East Grand Traverse Bay. We opened in June of 2023 and offer a casual lakefront dining experience. Our beverage menu offers a variety of options with majority of drinks ordered being cocktails. We also offer non-alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Blush: Rooftop Terrace! The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, organization, and creating exceptional beverage experiences. If you are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Operate cash registers and handle payments accurately, if necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus
