Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Toast POS.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns promptly, ensuring positive guest relations at all times.
- Support waitstaff as needed during busy periods to enhance customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred, especially in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
