Hourly Rate: Competitive, Based on Experience TIPS

Job Type: Seasonal, Full-time/Part-time

Shifts: Day and Night Shifts, Weekends, and Holidays

Breakfast Service: 9 AM - 11 AM

Dinner Service: 4 PM - 10 PM

Brunch Service: 9 AM - 1 PM (Saturday & Sunday)

About Us: Blush: Rooftop Terrace, located on the fifth floor (rooftop level) of Alexandra Inn, offers a breathtaking dining experience (indoor and outdoor dining options) with panoramic views of East Grand Traverse Bay. We opened in June of 2023 and offer lakefront dining experience offering breakfast, brunch, dinner, a full bar, and room service. As a seasonal destination, we embrace the vibrancy of each season and aim to create memorable dining experiences for our guests by highlighting local and seasonal ingredients.

Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dedicated team at Blush: Rooftop Terrace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and accurately record food and beverage orders
• Provide recommendations and descriptions of menu items
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner (including room service)
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings and menu items
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
