Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing excellent customer service.
Offer guidance and recommendations to customers based on their interests and inquiries about metaphysical topics, books, and products.
Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store display, ensuring products are stocked and easily accessible to customers.
Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments.
Conduct inventory management and restocking duties, including receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments.
Demonstrate an understanding of metaphysical concepts, holistic healing practices, and alternative therapies to engage customers in meaningful conversations.
Maintain a clean and inviting store environment, including dusting shelves, organizing displays, and tidying up common areas.
Requirements:
Passion for metaphysical, spiritual, and holistic topics, with a some existing knowledge base in these areas.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or bookstore environment.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining store displays and inventory.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the store's schedule.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
