What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tenant Coordinator position at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support of the asset services team, including coordination of meetings, events, and serving as a front-line responder to tenant requests.
- Manage vendor and tenant contact lists and collect and maintain Certificates of Insurance for both groups.
- Prepare service contracts and secure purchase orders.
- Assist with accounts receivable collections as well as coding and processing of check requests.
- Draft and send tenant communications using our Hub platform and ensure all Hub content is up-to-date and critical information for tenants included.
- Assist, as needed, with tenant move-in and move-outs, including access requests and execution and triage of work orders.
- Participate in team and operational meetings as assigned, including janitorial and landscape vendors and amenities providers, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Special projects/assignments as needed, including support of office and region initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable learning additional software platforms.
- Client service-oriented attitude and strong multi-tasker.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry.
