This role will interact with various departments within the organization including Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting, to gather the information needed for compliance and tax accounting related processes.

This position will provide support in many areas of corporate taxation. Key activities may include:
Tax Planning & Administration
- Conduct basic US federal and state tax research as requested using RIA Checkpoint on issues impacting the Company
- Provide support on corporate tax projects and initiatives
- Assist with drafting tax transaction related legal documents
- Documenting the changes to the tax structure as a result of acquisitions and other transactions
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Assist in the coordination of the data gathering of the information needed to prepare the Company’s tax returns
- Engage with Global Tax Master Service Provider on various aspects of global tax compliance
- Assistance in gathering information and supporting State income and franchise tax audits
- Assist with gathering information and drafting documentation for Transfer Pricing reports
- Progressing toward business related degree, preferably in tax, accounting or finance; Completion of sophomore year required
- Strong computer skills and functionality with the Microsoft Office® suite of products
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with other departments as a team player
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with an ability to handle multiple assignments and to work independently for periods of time
- Willingness and aptitude for learning new tools and techniques and transferring training to everyday activities
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
- Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA in field of study
